The Children’s Health Place is pleased to introduce Tara Misko, FNP-C!  Tara is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in various pediatric settings.  We are excited for her to bring her Southern hospitality to Northern Colorado!

Tara is originally from the Kentuckiana region of the US and completed her undergraduate degree from Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, and completed her graduate degree at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky.  Tara has always had a passion for children and began her nursing career in pediatric intensive care and pediatric cardiovascular intensive care in 2018 at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  While in grad school Tara worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, a Top-ranking US Children’s hospital, in the urgent care unit. Tara is passionate about congenital heart disease, breastfeeding support, nutrition, mental health and keeping your kiddos as healthy as possible and thriving!

Tara, her husband, their 5 children ages 7-12, their Au Pair Johandri, and their Boston Terrier named Norman, all reside in Windsor.  Tara enjoys traveling, snowboarding, hiking, oil painting, cooking, playing pickleball, and enjoying the Colorado outdoors. Tara and her adorable family love it here in Colorado and are excited to plant roots and serve the community of Greeley!
