The Children’s Health Place in Greeley Colorado is a veteran-owned, independent Medical Home that serves the Greeley and the Northern Colorado region. Centrally located in the Woodbriar Building in Greeley, Colorado, the practice attends to children, birth to 18 years of age and accepts most insurance plans including Health First Colorado (Medicaid) and CHP+ (Child Health Plan Plus). The practice consists of two pediatric providers, a Speech Therapist and five support staff. In operation for 28 years, the practice prides itself on a robust care management program, medical and behavioral outcomes, collaboration with Children’s Hospital of Colorado and places a high value on serving our bi-lingual patient base with quality, caring and compassion. For the past 28 years, The Children’s Health Place has developed a connection with the community and intends to expand its services into the future.

Pediatrician

Board-Certified Pediatrician:

Full-time (4 days/week) or Part-time (2 days/week)

The Children’s Health Place is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to work Full-Time (4 days/week) or Part-Time (2 days/week) to join our growing practice.

About TCHP:

The Children’s Health Place in Greeley Colorado is a veteran owned, independent Medical Home that serves the Greeley and the Northern Colorado region. We are centrally located in Greeley, CO with a population of 108,000, it is large enough with plenty of things to do, but with a small-town feel.  Home to numerous golf courses, biking trails, the University of Northern Colorado, and within an hour’s drive to Denver, Ft. Collins, and Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Greeley has much to offer and is the perfect place to call home.  Colorado is known for its snow, and while it has been known to snow in every month of the year, you will be happy to enjoy all four seasons.

About the position:

We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician who is energetic, has a positive work ethic, and enjoys working with children. Below are the skills and qualities we are seeking:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising physician of Advance Practice Providers
  • Provide pediatric services in a primary care setting
  • Assist in training and education of staff
  • Required knowledge and abilities to assess growth and development
  • Prescribe or administer treatments, medications, vaccinations and diagnostic testing
  • Interpret diagnostic tests to determine diagnosis and treatment
  • Assess and treat behavioral health concerns
  • Displays caring and professional attitude at all times
  • Maintains patient confidentiality
  • Basic understanding of electronic medical records (Epic Preferred)
  • Understanding of appropriate quality-based chart documentation and medical coding
  • Patient and parent education

Team skills:

  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to offer guidance and supervision in a constructive and appropriate manner
  • Responds professionally to high-pressure situations and time limits
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards
  • Knowledge of patient safety protocols, procedures, regulations and standards
  • Thorough understanding of compliance operations, patient safety, and HIPAA
  • Ability to make effective clinical/procedural decisions and recommendations

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy program
  • Current Colorado Physician license
  • Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Experience in a community clinic / outpatient facility
  • Ability to work in drug and smoke-free workplace
  • Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)

Benefits:

  • Pay range: $90.00 to $110.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Health insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off, Holiday pay

Office hours:

  • Day shift, Monday thru Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

COVID-19 precautions:

Everyone 10 yrs. old and up are required to wear masks while in the clinics. Staff is required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Advanced Practice Provider: NP/PA-C

Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Full-time (5 days/week)

The Children’s Health Place is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider; Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to work Full-Time (5 days/week) in our growing practice.

  • Pay range: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
