Board Certified Medical Director/ Pediatrician (MD/DO)
The Childrenâs Health Place is seeking an energetic Board-Certified Pediatrician/Medical Director to join our dynamic team in Greeley, Colorado.
The Childrenâs Health Place is an independent pediatric outpatient primary care practice in Greeley, Colorado. We have been in business for over 30 years and have gained a loyal following which includes many third-generation families. Over the years we have developed a mission to provide a personal approach to healthcare every child deserves. This includes treating, educating, and caring for each child, and their family with methods that are unique to the patient’s needs, resources available, and health goals.

We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician/Medical Director to lead our practice into the future of pediatrics. The position would require the physician to maintain patient visits, between 15-25 patients per day, and serve as a supervisor, mentor and coach to the Advanced Practice Providers. As the Medical Director, you would have the opportunity and privilege of determining policies and procedures of the practice, ensuring our patients receive top-notch medical care and exceptional customer service. We are nestled in the heart of Northern Colorado, where you can drive about an hour south and be in the bustling city of Denver, drive an hour west and be in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, drive an hour east and be on the majestic plains of eastern Colorado, or drive an hour north and see whatâs going on in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Position Details:
- Full-time schedule available four days a week
- Telephone on-call rotation but no hospital rounds (office hours Monday thru Friday)

- Salary Range: $173,000-$215,000 (based on experience)

Requirements:Â
- Current MD/DO unrestricted license

Advanced Practice Provider: NP-C/ PA-C
The Childrenâs Health Place is seeking a Board-Certified Advance Practice Provider to work Full-Time (5 days per week).
We are searching for an energetic provider with entrepreneurial spirit to supplement our pediatrician, as our practice continues to grow. Our search is to find a licensed, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, who has a passion and desire to make a positive impact on the children and families within our practice. The Advanced Practice Provider will have the ability to build a career, supported by an experienced staff and work within the limits of their license. The new candidate will join our established practice serving our diverse pediatric patient base, including many third-generation patients.We are searching for that one, very special person who will fully embrace our mission statement, âa personal approach to health care every child deservesâ.

We are centrally located in Greeley, CO with a population of 109,000 residents. Greeley is a medium-sized city with plenty of activities to do but maintains a small-town feel. Home to numerous golf courses, biking trails, parks, and within an hourâs drive to Denver, Ft. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide pediatric services in a primary outpatient care setting
- Prescribe or administer treatments, medications, vaccinations and diagnostic testing
- Interpret diagnostic tests to determine diagnosis and treatment
- Assess and treat behavioral health concerns
- Always displays caring and professional attitude
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Basic understanding of electronic medical records (Epic Preferred)
- Understanding of appropriate quality-based chart documentation and medical coding
- Patient and parent education
Team skills:
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment
- Able to offer guidance and supervision in a constructive and appropriate manner

Minimum Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current Colorado PA or NP License (in good standing)
- Current National Board Certification
- Prescriptive Authority
- 2+ year experience
- Current BLS/CPR required
- Ability to work in drug and smoke-free workplace
Preferred Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience
- Experience in Pediatrics
- Bilingual in Spanish
